Verdict

Withernsea showed up well in a valuable handicap at Leopardstown last time and should go close with a similar effort. Light And Shade was well beaten in Listed company recently and is 9lb higher than her earlier win at Ascot but Franklin D was not beaten that far in the Cambridgeshire here last month and this is easier. HAAF A SIXPENCE (NAP) won this in 2013 and remains on a 2lb lower mark despite scoring over track and trip on his latest start. It could pay to stick with Ralph Beckett's charge now he's back to his best with Emirates Airline preferred to Ghinia of the remainder.
