        Verdict

        Glass Slippers was unable to repeat last year’s Prix de l’Abbaye success at Longchamp last month. She beat today’s reserve Equilateral when landing the Flying Five at the Curragh before that but Kevin Ryan’s filly faces a different test in this open renewal. Most of the home sprinters are old foes with Got Stormy beating Into Mystic a nose here last month and Imprimis getting the better of Front Run The Fed and Bombard at Kentucky Downs when the latter pair dead-heated for second. Leinster beat Extravagant Kid with Just Might further behind over track and trip recently and has every chance but a speculative vote goes to OLEKSANDRA. She’s been hard to keep right having had just the seven outings so far but Neil Drysdale’s mare is a smart sprinter on her day and won a Grade 1 at Belmont in June with Texas Wedge back in third.
