Kilbready Star wasn't encouraging on his reappearance run after a protracted break, but there is more to like about Nosecond Chance who won a point-to-point in April and makes a first start under rules for a respected trainer with a cracking record here. Keep Talking has shown progression over jumps and has experience here so should run well, whilst Mossley represents for Nicky Henderson after comfortably scoring a Worcester bumper. He is worth a market check in a competitive race but the vote goes to HARVEST SONG. This nicely bred four-year-old owned by The Queen has plenty of scope for improvement and if he has progressed over the summer schooling months is the one to beat. He won well at Fontwell in May and assuming he acts fresh, he can take this race over a trip he should relish. Hoback Junction is an obvious danger although he may prefer the ground to be a touch softer and there are concerns that he pulled up last time out.
