Verdict

WAYWARD PRINCE signed off last season with a Grade One hurdling success at Aintree and, with his yard among the winners, he should outclass these if taking to fences. There's every hope that he will and as he's run well after a break fitness isn't a concern, despite the fact he'll be better for the experience. Quentin Collonges looks sure to do well at this game and he's less than a stone to find with the selection on their hurdles form, so Henry Daly's charge is much respected in a decent race. Baddam isn't all there mentally but he's earned his fair share of prize-money over the years and deserves respect along with Arkose who could be hard to peg back if getting into a rhythm, but Wayward Prince is the classiest horse here on all known form.
