    Verdict

ASTROMAN ran well for second in what looked an above-average maiden at Bangor earlier this month. That was only his second run over timber and it will be disappointing if there isn’t more to come. Art Man didn’t show much in four runs on the Flat in France but it would be no surprise if he knew what was required here and Paddy Brennan is riding as well as ever. Raihaan, a winner on the Flat in Germany, is another newcomer to note but Gary Moore may have stronger claims with Newbury and Wincanton runner-up Robin's Dream. Mini Crest is having a first start since October while Global Protektor may need the experience.
