In depth

Verdict

DIG TWO showed the benefit of an earlier debut run when returning an impressive winner over the minimum trip at Newmarket. He can defy a penalty on that evidence with this extra furlong likely to suit. Global Mirage never threatened when runner-up at Kempton and also steps up in distance along with Berry Quick, who went backwards last time having placed at Ripon earlier, but Showmedemoney debuted over today’s trip at Headquarters and looks a likely improver. Brilliant News is a full-brother to a winner and a half-brother to a host of others and is preferred to Fast Style of the newcomers.
