In depth

Verdict

ALHAAJEB finished third at Beverley without looking like catching the winner. The return to today’s longer trip should suit Mark Johnston’s colt and he may edge this. Woke Media is fitted with blinkers today though her best efforts so far came over 7f while Secret Haunt showed no improvement for the step up to 1m2f last time and a tongue-tie is applied. Sim Card also drops back down in trip having returned a losing favourite over 1m4f at Wolverhampton.
