Not too many turn up in good form so should there be any notable support for the likes of Captain Canada, Milestone or Princess Tiana, then it would be worthy of consideration. Rebel Benefit has glimmers of form that make him an outsider with claims but we'll stick with the more solid formlines of DISTANT SOUND and Lombardy Boy. The pair came home first and second at Towcester earlier in the month, since when the selection hasn't gone too badly when filling the minor placing here. Both are unproven over this longer trip which does temper confidence somewhat but the selection has scored over 3m between the flags and the claim of his amateur pilot could prove decisive in the closing stages. Lombardy Boy hasn't shone when upped to this trip in the past but is in good nick this year and is well worth another chance to see if he stays this far in what rates a modest contest.
