In depth

Verdict

A tightly-knit affair with all seven worthy of consideration. SHELDON is tasked with conceding weight all round and has fallen in two of his four chase starts, but looked good when scoring on the other two, especially last time at Exeter. His fencing technique is a concern on that evidence but he should go close with a clear round. Mahon Point is hard to assess on the limited data available but he was a useful hurdler, a winner in the pointing sphere and connections have turned his attention to fences quickly. A good run is expected. Dibble Decker sports first-time cheekpieces after a disappointing run last time and Everything'sontick may just need the run. Hidor De Bersy was pulled up last time, so Ozzie Man and Feuille De Lune are seen as likelier options and preferred in that order.
