In depth

Verdict

Last One Standing has every chance in this Novice Hurdle based on his bumper form but with him not seen for over a year we prefer AMERICAN CRICKET with Vincitore also making some appeal. A debut winner in a bumper the pick has yet to reach those heights since taking on hurdles. He has run with plenty of promise, though, including when placed in a handicap last time so with him setting the standard he gets the call. Last One Standing's only poor run came in a listed bumper but the runs either side of that offer plenty of hope on his hurdles bow. Vincitore improved on two runs when introduced to jumping last time and he should improve again to be involved while Keep Talking has proved inconsistent but on the pick of his form is given every chance on his own timber debut. Not A Bob should be better than he's shown but until he shows us more we'll turn elsewhere and this time in favour of American Cricket.
