Verdict

Guthrie should prove up to winning this contest. Alan King's team continue in good form at present and while Guthrie unshipped the rider on his last start, his form at Doncaster behind Native Ivy stands out in a modest affair. Kelly was rated 107 over hurdles and makes a chasing debut. Joely Green is better known as a plating class stayer on the flat while Fantastic Champion has it all to do on official figures. Guthrie has the proven form to succeed on Monday and we shall not oppose.
