In an uninspiring contest, Coppermalt is taken to follow up his Stratford victory at the expense of Sundawn Lady, Audiostreetdotcom and Peruvian Breeze to name but three. Bets should be kept to the minimum here as there could easily be a shock result, but on latest evidence, Coppermalt should be involved. The Roger Curtis-trained seven-year-old was ridden out to score at Stratford last time, and as he showed no signs of stopping at the finish, will appreciate today's marathon trip off what is a five-pound higher mark. That last success was gained in selling company but this is little better. Sundawn Lady finished third over the course and distance on her last outing and should again make her presence felt along with Audiostreetdotcom who might just find a bit more here, having finished third in similar company at Uttoxeter last time. Peruvian Breeze is one-paced, so this trip will help at least, but in what is more a case of hope than optimism, we return to Coppermalt as the pick.
