Sun King can land the opener at the expense of Green Prospect and Rebel Raider. The selection has been running well in this company throughout the season and was in winning form when scoring at Catterick recently. He is a consistent horse who is relishing this drop in company and he has conditions to suit once again. Green Prospect is another with chances on his form of late. He got his head in front at Fakenham in November and has since run well in defeat but at the weights has to improve to win. Rebel Raider reverts back to hurdles after a flat campaign. He has been highly tried over jumps in the past and this drop in grade gives him a chance at the weights so any market moves should be noted. But for the winner we return to Sun King.
