Verdict
Just the four runners for this contest but a case can be made for them all and so Dream Alliance is just a token selection ahead of Only Vintage and Jaunty Times. The selection was a beaten favourite last time out behind Blue Splash, but that was down to numerous mistakes. His previous victory was gained in great style with hardly any errors and he shows respect for the fences today he can return to winning ways. Jaunty Times took a novice handicap in good style last time and cannot be easily dismissed. The line up is completed by Moncadou who wasn't beaten far behind Pretty Star last time and he is helped by the weight concession from the others. So not a race to risk the mortgage and Dream Alliance just gets the vote.
