In depth

Verdict

Scare Lotte has been in good form between the Flags but we'll side with the more experienced Montevideo. The selection has had just three starts over fences under Rules but showed enough in those outings to suggest that he can make his presence felt in this sphere. He represents powerful connections and must be respected. Scare Lotte comes here on the back of a comfortable win at Cottenham and could give a good account on his first run over regulation fences. Solway Flo ran on well to get the better of Benwell at Alnwick but she has plenty to prove on the form that she's shown under Rules in the past whilst Lord Of The Hollow was well held in a Hunter Chase at Cheltenham last May. A market move for Josh You Are would bring him into the equation but Montevideo is the obvious selection here.
