There are enough consonants in the form figures to keep any Countdown contestant content so it may be best to tread carefully but Caged Tiger has reasonably sound claims and is selected ahead of Wild Ground and Bauhaus. The selection was brought down in a melee at the first at Leicester last time through not fault of his own but he was heading in the right direction prior to that and may be able to get back on the right road here. He certainly looks capable of winning a handicap from his current mark. Wild Ground has made rapid strides since joining Brendan Powell but this is her stiffest task yet and she's been on the go for a while now. Bauhaus wouldn't have appreciated the heavy ground last time but that run should have blown away a few cobwebs and he should be seen to better effect this afternoon. Meggie's Beau has the ability to win this but the unexposed I'm Supreme may be of more interest. He shaped well enough on his chase bow to suggest that he could feature now that he's stepped up in trip but he still has it to prove so Caged Tiger is put forwards to run for us.
