Verdict

ENLIGHTEN made all for a convincing victory in a Kelso bumper last month and wouldn't be travelling here unless thought capable of a big run. This is no easy task on his hurdling debut but he gets the nod over Bbold, though the latter's recent close third to Smarty Wild at Ludlow has been boosted by the winner. Cardigan Bay has only raced on good ground so far, landing a Fontwell bumper and running well over hurdles at Leicester the last twice. If she handles the conditions she will be in the firing-line while Lucky Lover Boy made an encouraging hurdling debut at Ludlow and looks certain to get into contention.
