BATTLEOVERDOYEN is 2-2 over hurdles after winning a point-to-point and a bumper. He was always holding Sams Profile in a Grade 1 at Naas in January and won’t surrender his unbeaten record without a fight with further improvement likely. Champ looks the pick of the home team having won his last four but the form of his Newbury success is not working out and no winner of the Challow Hurdle has gone on to take this in the last 16 years, while Brewin'upastorm looks held on the form book. City Island has only won a maiden and a novice hurdle so far but looks useful and Willie Mullins’ pair Castlebawn West and Easy Game should make their presence felt.
