Verdict

Sussex Road is over two stone out of the handicap and though Vinnie Red would have to be considered at his best he's been running poorly. Carlo Rocks is best over further on very testing ground while Johnny Yuma was well beaten when refusing at the last at Market Rasen. Midnight Owle has never won a race in 20 starts though ran well at Warwick on New Year's Eve but this can be left to VIVACCIO, who was beaten less than a length over the trip at Exeter last time and has won from much higher marks in the past.
