      Verdict

The Crafty Touch has won twice between the flags but 2m on good ground may be an insufficient test of stamina. Jane Lamb has placed three times in bumpers but hasn’t raced since December 2017, though fitness is rarely an issue for one from her yard. BOSSINEY BAY (NAP) should enjoy the drying ground more than most as she won over 1m2f on good to firm ground on the Flat. Her jumping was a little sketchy here last month but she’ll know more today and may be the one to beat though Saumur, another Flat winner, is also respected.
