In his current form Stars Delight has to be the choice to take the concluding race ahead of Young Buck, New Perk and Waterhall. Gary Moore's gelding has won his last two starts in novice company and, although now put into a handicap for the first time, he appears to be well treated. The assistance of a decent amateur jockey in the plate is an added bonus. Young Buck has claims on his best but has been below par of late and a bigger danger to the selection may be New Perk, who is less exposed than most. Waterhall is only 1lb out of the weights proper and, in receipt of weight from his rivals, could go close.
