      Verdict

      A dual novice winner over hurdles, THUNDER ROCK should make a bold bid on his handicap debut. He’s preferred to the more exposed Dorking Boy, who returned to winning ways in this grade at Taunton recently. Kempton runner-up Mengli Khan is upped in both class and distance but Fix Sun and Wilde About Oscar have both tasted success at this level in the past and the latter has his first outing after a wind operation.
