In depth

Verdict

Gentleman At Arms finished runner-up in a Grade 2 contest at Warwick last month and should be in the mix though ELLE EST BELLE may edge this. The latter came up against the progressive Jonbon when fourth in a Grade 2 hurdle at Ascot last time and this extra distance should suit Dan Skelton’s mare. Wonderwall won a maiden hurdle at Doncaster and is worth a try at this higher level as is the unbeaten Harbour Lake, who is preferred to Jerrash of the recent novice winners.
