Verdict

NELSON'S SPICE has another 12lb rise to defy for his latest success at Market Rasen but Jonjo O'Neill's gelding has shown much improved form since being put over fences and he is taken to defy that rise, getting the verdict ahead of That Look and Loita Hills. The last mentioned has been running well with wins at Market Rasen and Perth followed by a decent effort in defeat at Bangor recently. The Philip Hobbs-trained gelding should be thereabouts again but he may just be a shade high in the weights. Full House is capable but has seemingly lot his way of late and of more interest may be Cool Roxy, who is gradually coming back to a fair mark. Henrietta Knight's Orfeo Conti looks to be going the right way and he has to be considered but a bigger threat is likely to come from Don Cantillon's That Look, a recent winner on the level at Yarmouth. Several have chances here but it is Nelson's Spice that gets the vote.
