Verdict

Ottoman. Gilou and Minivet look the three to concentrate on in this handicap and the vote goes to Ottoman. The selection was a fair fourth in a much better race behind Ebinzyed under similar conditions last time out and he need only reproduce that effort to score. Minivet rates the main danger on his latest third behind Al Mabrook but that was a falsely run race and his best form is with more cut in the ground so he is opposed on this occasion. Gilou was well beaten last time out behind Fairy Skin Maker. This looks easier but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually achieved. Copplestone has the ability to go close but he does not always use it he was a fair third behind David's Lad last time but that was over a longer trip and he may lack the pace for this distance. Of the remainder Modulor is from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Ottoman.
