Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Muckle Flugga, Izzykeen, and Nocatee and the tentative vote is given to Izzykeen. The selection won well last time out when beating Mooramana. He enters handicaps off what looks a fair mark and under conditions to suit he is taken to score. Muckle Flugga rates the main danger as he won well last time out when beating Mary Macs Lad but he has a penalty for that win and in this more competitive affair that may just find him out. Nocatee is on a handy mark and could go well at a price but he is far from straight forward so he can not be put forward with any confidence. Ramblees Holly has dropped to a handy mark and could run well at a price but in a race that throws up more questions than answers for the winner we return to Izzykeen.
