In depth

Verdict

Peter Bowen has his string in good form at present, something that Gunnabelil further confirmed that when racing on fast ground when successful at Plumpton earlier this month and he is taken to follow up here, getting the verdict ahead of Ben Britten and Charles Street. The last mentioned has run consistently well without winning of late and should again be thereabouts. Lyster has disappointed since landing a Hereford handicap in October, while Whatdoidowiththat has shown little sign of ability from admittedly limited opportunities so far. Anything that James Lambe sends over from Ireland has to be respected and Ben Britten, who has been running creditably well of late, is no exception. Gunnabelil has solid claims though and is taken to give Peter Bowen another winner.
