Verdict

Not the strongest of races of this nature that you will ever encounter and Earl Sigurd is selected to get the better of some modest opposition. The five-year-old is still open to improvement and with his stable in such good form at present, he is confidently expected to lay to rest the memory of a below par effort here on his penultimate start. Barton Dante is exposed as ordinary but is selected ahead of Whiteaside as the best of the rest.
