In depth

Verdict

This could rest between Sir Boreas Hawk and Ever So Lightly and the first named gets the decision, Reel Charmer may do best of the rest. Alan Swinbank's gelding showed plenty of ability on his debut when finishing just over eight lengths behind the Howard Johnson trained Ovide. With improvement almost guaranteed he will be hard to beat this afternoon. Ever So Lightly is from the flying Sue Smith yard and displayed plenty of ability on debut run at Wetherby, he should run into a place this afternoon. Reel Charmer wasn't beaten far behind Little Bit Of Hush on her Haydock debut and this race isn't any stronger, she should get involved in the finish. Of the others Gunadoir is from a top yard and has to be watched closely in the betting, but Sir Boreas Hawk has already shown he has plenty of ability and he gets a confident vote.
