Verdict

Baccalaureate, comfortably clear on official ratings, is far from bombproof as he's unproven over this trip. Seemingly no longer the force of old, he ought to still be good enough if getting three miles but does represent a risky proposition at present. Andrea Bambaleo has no such stamina concerns but is not in the best of form either but Stand Clear's recent Cartmel second to Cygnet in selling company brings him into calculations. JAWAAB gained his only hurdling success back in 2011 but doesn't have many miles on the clock over timber and his latest effort on the Flat when third in a Pontefract marathon was a decent effort - he gets the nod.
