In depth

Verdict

Most of these are struggling to get their heads in front and nothing makes much appeal. KYLES FAITH is asked to concede weight all round but at least has a recent success to his name when scoring here last month and only went down narrowly on a return visit 15 days later when put back to timber. The only course and distance winner in the field, he's taken to fences quite well and may deliver a little more improvement over the larger obstacles. Mr Bachster needed the run at Southwell in April and hasn't been seen since but remains of interest on his two successes at the back end of 2013 at Leicester and Ludlow. Richard Johnson is an interesting booking for Sumner as the Xaar gelding returns from a 255-day break.
