OVERBRANCH gets the narrow vote to land this mares hurdle race at the expense of Kind Heart and Nevsky Bridge. The selection has to overcome a nine pound rise in the weights since winning over course and distance last time out. She did however drop to what looked like a lenient mark and if at her best she still looks potentially well treated on her best form so is worth staying on the right side of. Kind Heart won a juvenile hurdle on her first outing for Donald McCain and was close to scoring again at Musselburgh last time out. She has a progressive sort on the level for Sir Mark Prescott and is sure to be winning more races over obstacles so is one to note. Nevsky Bridge is tough and consistent and has been running well in defeat of late. She was not beaten far behind the selection last time out and another good run can be expected, however Overbranch is the form horse in the race and is difficult to oppose.
