Very few of these can be given a serious chance and it is hard to get away from the claims of Cinema, who gets the vote ahead of Royaltea and Dunguaire Lady. The selection had plenty of form over hurdles in France without actually winning a race but finally came good in grand style at Perth last month. Today's faster ground should not inconvenience the son of Bering who should be able to give weight away all round judged by that Perth run. Ameras has had plenty of chances and would look booked for a place at best, while Turtle Bay has yet to even be placed once in six starts over hurdles and is hard to recommend. Ferdy Murphy's Velocissima is less exposed than most but has given little cause for optimism so far and of more interest may be Dunguaire Lady, who is consistent but remains a maiden under all codes. Royaltea has shown improved form of late and is another to consider but preference is for Cinema, who is taken to follow up his Perth success.
