In depth

Verdict

More poor racing here with a bunch of misfits contesting this novice handicap chase. Hard Lines probably has the best claims on racecourse form but he is no world beater. His run when second at Carlisle last time out should be good enough to land this against a field of inconsistent finishers. Little Alfie has some semblance of a chance if translating his hurdle form to the larger obstacles though he did not conclusively prove he handled soft ground then. Weejumpawud was capable a couple of seasons ago but both he and his stable are out of form. Glenfarclas Boy showed some form last season but has disappointed this term.
