In depth

Verdict

A mixed bag of ability here with a slight TEAMtalk preference going to Lambrini Prince provided he is fit for this first run of the season. He is prone to the odd mistake but should still be too good for this poor field. His main danger provided he takes to the larger obstacles will be soft ground specialist Clonshire Paddy. His trainer has an excellent record here and could go well at a decent price. Tell Tale can produce the occasional good performance but is not one to rely on. As is the case in maiden chases the race is full of 'ifs and buts' and as Homer Simpson once said "If ifs and buts were candy and nuts we'd all be living down Lollipop Lane." Not a race to get heavily involved with.
