Verdict

Beau Bay has been placed in decent handicap company since winning at Perth in August and has every chance in this, despite the suspicion he may be a few pounds too high. Bigirononhiship is dropped in class and distance on his reappearance but conditions today should play to his strengths and it’s only a matter of time before he gets his head in front. Champagne Chaser makes his chasing bow but will like the ground and won over hurdles here a month ago. PRINCESS TARA would have given winner Debdebdeb something to think about had she not missed out the second-last here in May. The latter bolted up next time and Malcolm Jefferson’s mare could be the value on her return to action.
