Alaadel is worth another try over today’s trip having gone close over 6f in testing ground the last twice. Esprit De Corps just missed out in this grade at Newbury last time but Custard The Dragon has done all his winning so far on the all-weather. 2015 winner Cricklewood Green scored over track and trip in July but has been beaten off higher marks subsequently and Crafty Madam is upped 7lb for winning at Sandown. But SCOTTISH GLEN has slipped down the weights this year and a repeat of his earlier second in a higher grade than this at Leicester could see the veteran return to winning ways.
