Kozier has been steadily improving on the Flat, winning over 2m at Chepstow last month. He should make a hurdler and so should Sussex Ranger, who won over 1m6f at Lingfield in July and represents the yard that won this last year and also in 2013. RISK AND ROLL made his racecourse debut in a Listed hurdle at Auteuil in April and ran well, despite making a couple of mistakes. He’ll have learned plenty from that and a switch to the all-conquering Nicholls yard is hardly a negative. Delannoy only won a seller on the Flat and lacks the scope of some of these.
