In depth

Verdict

It is not often David Pipe sends a runner to Hexham and so the hint has to be taken here with Cadoulitique, Flying Doctor, April San and the Player may provide most danger. The selection is having his first run in this company following some excellent efforts over fences in France. The stable do very well with this type and it looks a soft race for his British introduction. Flying Doctor has had plenty of chances and once again ran well last time when finishing a close second to Bright Sparky at Musselburgh. Once again he may have to settle for some place money. Player improved on his debut effort to chase home Olivair at Market Rasen and should be involved in the finish once again. April San put in a solid first effort in this country and is another open to improvement. All in all a tricky contest but Cadoulitique looks the best option.
