Verdict

MOTOWN LAKE (NAP) has been well placed by Christian Williams to land two of his last four starts and staying chases are clearly the name of the game for the six-year-old who must surely have further progress to unlock. He handles some cut in the ground and can defy his latest rise in the ratings to the tune of 5lb. Four Horsemen is an interesting Irish raider on his second run for Karl Thornton in that he's only had one start over fences when a decent third at Tramore. He could prove a danger with that experience under his belt. Deluxe Range is a possible improver and Prince Dundee is a solid sort but is probably more or less where the handicapper wants him.
