CHURCHTOWN RUBY has contested three bumpers in four starts but her best came on her second start when beaten under a length in a Limerick maiden hurdle. She handles cut in the ground and the claim of the excellent Jack Foley in addition to the sex allowance should see her competitive on this return to timber. Tudor Manor has been seen on the Flat in the past couple of months but he too displayed his best form over hurdles when a Thurles runner-up in November. He also showed ability on his other two hurdling starts and a good run is expected. Consistent Freddie Robdal and the returning Elusive Gigolo are also respected with the latter preferred.
