Verdict

The form here is modest but the race has an eye-catcher in Stilyker. Off for over 300 days, he does have a sprinkling of maiden hurdle form to call upon and now makes a first start for the champion trainer. He wouldn't have to progress much to to a leading player and Willie Mullins may well eke some improvement from the gelding. However, BREAGAGH has been running fairly well on the Flat of late, but also showed promise over hurdles when better than his finishing position suggested at Naas. His Down Royal effort also reads well in the context of this race and he's worth a shot. He's Leading Me On and Golden Sandbanks improved last time and make appeal too.
