GILSLAND seems to appreciate small fields and he could be capable of seeing off likely hotpot, Brimham Boy. Donald McCain has found an ideal opportunity for the Ayr winner, Gilsland. This front runner can tend to run in snatches but the much improved Jason Maguire will be entrusted with the attempt to call the fractions right. Brimham Boy dotted up over 2m3f and was clearly anticipated to do so on the day. Off a very light weight, he makes plenty of appeal although the likely odds won't. Tuskar Rock has proved hard to win with though he has shown form on the surface previously. Omix D'Or won a Market Rasen handicap though has struggled to cope with life off a revised mark. Gilsland has no easy task to give weight all around but we are prepared to play him at the prices.
