Paddington Green looks the pick here, with Dante's Back and Thrilling Prospect expected to give him most to do. Hughie Morrison's charge has clearly appreciated the application of blinkers, having finished an improved second on his two latest starts, at Wincanton and Fakenham. After holding every chance at the Norfolk track, he was a bit one-paced, running on at the finish, and so the step up in trip should be very much in his favour. Dante's Back comes from a stable that had a fantastic season by previous standards, but looks to be biding his time before going over fences. The only other realistic challenger appears to be Thrilling Prospect, whose second to Powder Creek at Wetherby the time before last has been advertised since. She gets weight off the selection but the feeling is that she does not jump well enough, and with that in mind we return to Paddington Green as the answer.
