Rebelle was good value for his win on a soft surface at Hexham earlier this month and with plenty of form on good ground takes the vote to defy the 6lb rise with the main threats looking to be Hello It's Me and Notaproblem. The last mentioned has gradually been coming into form and has solid place claims but may have to settle for a minor role again. You'vegotmerocking may prefer a softer surface, while Montecorvino has similarly yet to prove that he handles decent ground and may be best watched. Meneur De Jeu cannot be discounted but David Pipe's gelding has not progressed as much as may have been anticipated and of more interest may be Don McCain's Hello It's Me. He too may prefer softer ground than today's and preference is for Rebelle who is taken to defy the handicapper for his Hexham win.
