In depth

Verdict

A competitive handicap in which we will give SIX DAY WAR the tentative vote with both Kerry's Girl and Delayed Approach worth noting. The selection comes form a yard in tip top form and although he is now eight pounds higher in the weights since his latest course and distance win this four year old looks a promising prospect and is more than capable of winning more races before the handicapper gets a hold of him. Kerry¿s Girl won a novice event at Exeter last season and has run well in defeat on both her two runs this season. She was not beaten far behind Hector¿s Choice in a competitive Newbury handicap and coming from the Paul Nicholls yard she is worthy of respect. Delayed Approach won on her race course debut when landing a bumper at Uttoxeter last season. She was unable to win with a penalty thereafter but ran well in defeat and was back in the winners enclosure on her second start over hurdles. She has plenty of race experience now behind her so she is another to note in the betting market on her handicap debut. However for the winner we return to Six Day War.
