The shortlist contains Dancewiththedevil, Mocho and Brinkmanship, with the vote going to Mocho. Dancewiththedevil comes firmly into things based on his Limerick debut second, while Mocho cost 42,000 and is likeably bred for this game so has to be of interest. As does Brinkmanship, who was second at Exeter on his debut, while Ganache is a little hard to assess based on his Exeter debut second, but should still improve for it. Luccombe Bay would be of some interest if attracting support, while True Tara has something to like on breeding but showed little on her racecourse debut. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Mocho, particularly if the betting market speaks well of him.
