Quite a bit of previous bumper form on offer and the best of it is perhaps held by QUEEN OCTAVIA and she is selected ahead of Tallyho Tara and Moonberry. The selection was fifth behind Shut The Bar on her debut at Fontwell where she looked as if a more conventional track might suit. She should appreciate the step up in trip today and if she handles the softer ground then she might take some beating. Moonberry is a daughter of Overbury and shaped on her debut at Taunton as if she already needs a longer trip, Moonlight Ruby was well-fancied for her debut at Fontwell but disappointed, whilst Carbon Cliche seemed to regress from first to second outings. Aega has shown a solid level of form and bumped into a nice sort at Fakenham last time out, Bringewood Belle would be interesting if fit after almost a year off, whilst Present Your Case may do better over hurdles sooner rather than later. Tallyho Tara is stoutly-bred and may need more time, however she got rid of her jockey at an early stage on debut and she could be anything. Not the easiest of races for punters, so the market may help provide some clues, however without that information we are happy to side with Queen Octavia.
