Some useful hunter chasers line up for this race over the extended 3m1f trip including Kerry Soldier Blue, Mr Dow Jones and Ridgeway but the vote goes to Quetal, who should have too much ability and can defy his penalty. The selection holds Mr Dow Jones on running at Newbury in February and, although twice disappointing at Cheltenham since then, he should be suited by a return to a flatter track as well as a drop in class. Ridgeway surprised many when winning at Catterick in March and has claims if able to reproduce his effort then. Kerry Soldier showed improved form when second to Cherry Gold at Chepstow last month. Rocket Raider looks the best of the rest.
