Happy Hussar and Wee Danny appear to be the two to concentrate on, with the latter given a tentative vote. Happy Hussar showed his first worthwhile form for sometime when second at Southwell recently, and although only moderate may well make a race of it in this weak contest. Wee Danny is younger though and has a lot more scope so is selected to complete a hat-trick after victories at Newton Abbot and Worcester. His recent purple patch has been under today's rider who seems to know what is needed on the six-year-old who only does enough and no more. Kippanour is a course and distance winner, while Dam The Breeze had fair form prior to being pulled up after a mistake over fences at Market Rasen. Excellent Vibes has a low weight and time on his side at the age of five, but Wee Danny has the form in the book and is the one to beat.
